The system controls the temperature, amount and distribution of the air flow automatically and adjusts them according to the driving and weather conditions. Press the AUTO button to switch auto mode on. The system in your vehicle is dual-zone automatic climate control. When the system is in mono mode, all the temperature zones are linked to the driver’s zone. When you switch mono mode off, the dual-zone system allows you to set different temperatures for the driver’s and front passenger’s side.
Starting with Ford Intelligent Access Push Button Start is easy. The first step is to step on the brake pedal. In a Ford equipped with a manual transmission, depress the clutch instead. Now, with your key fob in your pocket or anywhere inside the vehicle, simply press the start/stop button
Helping Next-Gen Everest handle anything from smooth roads to mud and ruts and everything in between are up to six selectable drive modes: Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul and Slippery are intended for on-road use (all models), while Mud/Ruts and Sand modes are available on Trend 4×4 and Titanium+ 4×4 variants, and are intended for off-road use.

The Lane-Keeping System uses a forward-looking camera to detect if you’re unintentionally drifting out of lane. The system then warns you by vibrating the steering wheel and displaying a visual warning. If you’re slow to react or don’t respond, Lane Keeping Aid can provide steering torque assistance to help guide you safely back into the right lane. The technology is designed for multi-lane roads (like motorways), so will automatically deactivate at speeds below 43mph or can be turned off manually
If a potential collision is detected, an alert sound is emitted, and a warning message displays in the message center. If your response is not sufficient, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) will precharge and increase Brake Assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake. If you don’t take corrective action and a collision is imminent brakes can apply automatically
The way you drive can have a significant impact on how often your oil needs changing. The Intelligent Oil Life Monitor in Ford vehicles is a smart system that monitors oil levels and alerts you with a message in the instrument cluster when the oil needs changing
The Next-Gen Everest takes blind-spot-detection to the next level. BLIS® (Bind Spot Information System) with Trailer Coverage can alert you if a vehicle is detected in your Everest’s or trailer’s blind spot. It’s added peace of mind and makes for safer and less stressful driving
Your Everest can detect if there is an object or pedestrian behind you or a vehicle about to cross at the rear. It will sound an alert and if you don’t react in time will apply the brakes for you
iACC helps maintain your speed when you’re on the road and with Stop & Go 3, can slow down your Everest if traffic ahead has stopped or slowed.

Driver Alert System can monitor your level of alertness based on your driving behavior. if the system detects that your driving pattern has become irregular, it gives you an audible and visual warning in your instrument cluster to help keep you alert
Designed with road-trips in mind, the Everest can provide gentle steering support to help prevent the vehicle from drifting off the road
Every seating position comes with an advanced seatbelt system and additional airbag system as needed. And in a first for Everest, there are now up to seven airbags available, including an airbag in between the front passengers, giving extra protection from side impacts.
If Pre-collision Assist determines the distance is too short to brake in time to avoid a collision, your Everest will provide steering support (without steering for you) to help you avoid the obstacle
