Lao Ford City, which is subsidiaries of RMA Lao, as a representative of the RMA Group, donated learning materials and consumer goods to Sixiengmay School in Naxou village, Paek district, Xieng Khuang, during a visit to the province on July 25. The school is situated in a location that is susceptible to unexploded ordnance (UXO) remnants, even though UXO clearance teams have removed numerous devices from the area. Previously, on behalf of the Ford Motor Company, Lao Ford City Co., Ltd. provided US$20,000 to support the clearance of unexploded ordnance (UXO) and assist a school affected by unexploded ordnance in Xieng Khuang province in April this year. During their visit to Xieng Khuang on July 25, Lao Ford City handed over notebooks, textbooks, pens, pencils, rulers, clothing and food worth more than 100 billion kip, while Land Rover Laos provided additional assistance.
Following the handover of the supplies, RMA Lao and the Xieng Khuang Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting with local business operators to inform them about RMA Lao’s products. RMA Lao services automotive products, including Ford cars, Land Rovers and Mahindra vehicles, and also services heavy machinery used in agriculture. In addition, RMA Lao offers building design and construction services. RMA Lao has been in business since 1994, and this year had the opportunity to speak with Xieng Khuang province’s business community. Ford vehicles, Land Rovers, Mahindras, John Deere tractors and JCBs were on show throughout the event. Participants were able to get a firsthand experience of the vehicles and have close-up look at RMA Lao’s products. Staff also displayed vehicle spare parts, engine oil for Ford cars, and off-road tyres, which would be suitable for use by customers in Xhieng Khuang province. On behalf of the RMA Group, Lao Ford City and Land Rover Laos would like to thank Done Hom Auto, a representative of Ford vehicles and other products in Xieng Khuang province.
