The 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission is the best automatic and a game changer. An all-new electronic control system in the transmission features real-time adaptive shift-scheduling algorithms engineered to help ensure the right gear at the right time, including skip-shift and direct downshift capability. That translates into optimum ratio progression and efficiency, smoother shifting and better performance across the board. The 10-speed architecture, featuring Ford-patented technology, is designed for optimum ratio progression and efficiency. It also provides more accurate, quicker upshift and downshift capability

4x4 System

This 4×4 system utilizes a 2-speed Electronic Shift On the Fly (ESOF) transfer case which is also knows as a part-time” system. It offers the driver 2. 4H, and 4L as available modes of operation. When either 4H or 4L are selected, the system provides mechanically locked four-wheel drive power to both the front and rear axles for use in off-road or slippery conditions such gearing for increased torque multiplication for conditions like deep sand, as deep sand or mud. When 4L is selected, the system provides additional steep grades, or pulling heavy objects

Off-Road Screen

The Next-Gen Everest has more built-in capability than ever, with everything you need to take on your next adventure. At the push of a button, a dedicated off-road screen provides the ability to see vehicle information such as off-road status and pitch and roll. Vehicles additionally fitted with a 360-Degree Camera will also see a front camera view of the terrain ahead

Dual front recovery points means access to your Everest even if one side is buried in mud or sand and allows the use of balance straps during snatch recoveries
