3.5L EcoBoost® Engine With 10-Speed Transmission
The 3.5L EcoBoost® delivers and proven performance in over a half-million F-150 pickups. It delivers best-in-class torque for a V6 engine, beating out its gasoline- and diesel-powered competitors. All-new turbochargers deliver more boost thanks to improved twin turbos and a lighter turbine wheel. It also comes paired with an all-new 10-speed transmission, which delivers improved acceleration and performance compared with previous six-speed automatic transmissions, thanks to optimized wide-span gear spacing, coupled with drag-reduction actions. Three overdrive gears and a wider ratio span enable lower-numerical rear-axle ratios to help improve fuel efficiency at highway speeds.
F-150 Raptor: Leaner and Meaner
F-150 Raptor is leaner, meaner and more powerful than ever. It’s approximately 200 kg lighter than the previous generation, thanks to high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy plus a high-strength, boxed steel frame. It also features an all-new twin-turbo, intercooled DOHC 24-valve high-output 3.5L EcoBoost® engine with port fuel injection and direct fuel injection, a 10-speed automatic transmission, all-new four-wheel drive and 3.0-inch FOX Racing Shox™.

F-150 Off-Road
Shifting into four-wheel drive is as easy as turning a dial with the electronic shift-on-the-fly (ESOF) system. ESOF lets you choose two four-wheel-drive modes (4×4 low or high) as well as two-wheel drive. LARIAT, King Ranch® Limited and Platinum models also include automatic 4WD mode. Raptor offers a two-speed automatic AWD with mechanical locking 4WD.
The FX4 Off-Road Package is optional on F-150 4x4s and includes electronic-locking rear differential, Hill Descent Control™, off-road tuned shock absorbers, plus skid plates. A 4×4 “FX4 Off-Road” decal is also included. In addition, F-150 offers the available class-exclusive 360-degree camera with split-view display.
Try to avoid water higher than the bottom of the hubs and proceed slowly. Refer to your owner’s manual for detailed information regarding driving through water.
Raptor Terrain Management System™
There are six preset modes for the truck depending on terrain and driving conditions.
Normal mode is well-suited for everyday driving, while sport mode offers higher performance during on-road driving. Weather mode offers confident control in rain, snow or ice. For muddy and sandy terrain, choose Mud and Sand mode. Baja mode is helpful during high-speed desert running and Rock mode is your go-to for low-speed rock crawl mode.

Torture-Testing the Next-Generation F-150
Our goal in building the current Ford F-150 was to set the industry bar for durability for years to come. So we subjected it to over 10 million miles of cumulative torture-testing – in labs, at proving grounds, over high-altitude passes and through desert valleys, while hauling huge loads and towing heavy trailers at temperature extremes from -20 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Today’s F-150 is not only light in weight, but also offers best-in-class hauling capability.

3.5L EcoBoost®
The available 3.5L EcoBoost® delivers proven performance and durability in over a half-million F-150 pickups on the road. Standard Auto Start-Stop Technology, Ford-first dual-direct and port fuel injection system, plus turbochargers for more boost. Advanced twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT) technology optimizes power output at every point across the performance band.

New 10-Speed Transmission
F-150 Raptor pairs an all-new 10-speed transmission with its 3.5-liter EcoBoost® engine. The transmission delivers improved acceleration and performance compared with previous six-speed automatic transmissions, thanks to optimized wide-span gear spacing, coupled with drag-reduction actions. Three overdrive gears and a wider ratio span help improve fuel efficiency at highway speeds, while maintaining F-150’s best-in-class towing. The 10-speed transmission uses advanced materials and alloys to save weight, which translates into enhanced shifting performance.
Raptor DOHC 24-Valve, High-Output 3.5L EcoBoost® Engine
The all-new, twin-turbo, intercooled DOHC 24-valve, high-output 3.5L EcoBoost®with port fuel injection and direct fuel injection is projected to deliver even more power than the previous 6.2L V8. A 10-speed automatic transmission with manual-shifting mode allows you to have control over gear selection without requiring the driver to operate a clutch.

360-Degree Camera with Split-View Display
The available 360-degree camera with split-view display* uses four cameras – one in the grille, tailgate, and under each of the sideview mirrors. The system enables you to see all sides of the truck by stitching the images together and displaying them on a center- stack screen. It’s useful when maneuvering in tight spaces or on trails.
