Vientiane, June 17th, 2022 – Lao Ford City was a proud participant at the US Embassy Vientiane Independence Day celebration. It was held at Caracter Restaurant, a road house inspired establishment, which boats a significant collection of classic American cars from the 1960s and 1970s. Beautifully maintained American classics had also been brought in and were proudly displayed by their owners. Some classic Fords on display included a Ford Mustang 1965 and 1968 and a Ford F-100 1951.Lao Ford City added a fine lineup of new showroom models including a Ford Ranger Raptor X, Ranger Wildtrak, Ford Explorer and Ford Everest. The theme of the celebration for 2022 was “Start your Engines” referring to the start of the economic engines of the nations of the world following the global pandemic. Many American and Lao companies supported the event and set up booths displaying, demonstrating or sampling their products and services. Lao Ford City is an annual sponsor of the Independence Day celebration and this year the automotive theme provided a particularly good association.
